I cannot open WhatsApp after updating to iOS 16.4

How can I get my WhatsApp application back to work since this iOS version 16.4 is not allowing me to open the WhatsApp application for the past 24 hours after the update on my iPhone.

This current update is affecting WhatsApp performance. I cannot for the past 24 hours open my WhatsApp application after updating to this iOS version 16.4.
