Texts from blocked contact still show on Apple Watch

I recently blocked a contact on my iPhone but their texts still show up on my Apple watch. It is set to mirror the phone and I’ve tried resyncing the data 4x and turning both devices off and on again.

Any other tips? Noticing a lot of others have asked this so I’m wondering if it’s a bug.

Salutations VirgoQueen,

When you were resyncing the data, did you do so from Watch app > My Watch > General > Reset > Reset Sync Data? If not, let’s try that now. This will remove all Contacts and Calendar data and then re-sync if from your iPhone.

Another step we can try is to see if we’re able to block the contact on your Apple Watch, just let us know if that changes anything.

Please also be sure both your iPhone and Apple Watch are up to date.
