Hi RussJaBa,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities.

We understand you want to covert your vinyl music to digital music that can be played in iTunes.

You would need to purchase the hardware and/or software capable of recording your vinyl to digital. You will need to search for what fits your needs best. Once you have the digital files added to your computer, you can import the music to iTunes using the steps below.

Get media into iTunes
1. In the iTunes app  on your PC, choose File > Add File to Library or Add Folder to Library.
2. Locate a file or folder, then click Open.
3. If you add a folder, all the files it contains are added to your library.
Tip: You can also drag a file or folder from the desktop to the iTunes window to import it.
When you import an item by dragging it to the iTunes window or choosing File > Add File to Library, a reference (or “pointer”) to the item—not the item itself—is placed in the iTunes folder. You might not be able to play songs if you move the references to them.

You can find these details and more in Import media from a computer to iTunes on PC - Apple Support.

Regards.

iTunes does not have a method for recording (creating a digital copy) from a turntable or USB input. If your turntable came with software to record (create a digital copy) from the turntable to your computer (as many turntables do), use it.

An alternative is Audacity, which is free and can record from a computer's USB input and create a digital file (usable by iTunes). There is a learning curve to go through before you get the best out of Audacity. My recommendation to use Audacity is based on my personal experience of it. I do not receive any compensation (in any form) for suggesting it to you.

Once you have created digital versions of your vinyl, use the steps outlined by Nicholas_B2 to add the music to your Library.
