Is there really no way to rename a note manually?

I see it's supposed to pick up the first line as the title, but problem starts when this is a handwritten note and the auto recognition fails and the title left all messed up (see image). Despite multiple tried to erase and write more legibly.

Oddly enough, another similar note in structure was recognized well.

I tried on iPad pro, as well as Macbook Pro. There does not seem to be a "change title" option. Is this true? Anyway to override this?
