Is anyone else having random emails become unread and not being able to locate them? I have notifications on the app like I have unread emails but I have to dig back months and months to find them and they will not go away.

It's possible that you may be experiencing issues with emails becoming unread and not being able to locate them on your iPhone. However, it's difficult to say if others are experiencing the same issue without more information.

Here are a few steps you can try:

  1. Check your email settings: Make sure that your email account settings are set up correctly on your iPhone. Go to "Settings" > "Passwords & Accounts" and check that your email account is set up and configured correctly.
  2. Search for the missing emails: Use the search function in the Mail app to search for the missing emails. Tap on the search bar at the top of the Mail app and enter keywords or sender names to search for the emails.
  3. Check your email filters: Check if you have any filters or rules set up that may be causing the emails to become unread or disappear. Go to "Settings" > "Passwords & Accounts" > "Your email account" > "Mail" > "Rules" to check your email filters.
  4. Check your email archive or trash folders: It's possible that the emails may have been archived or accidentally deleted. Check your email archive or trash folders to see if the emails are there.
  5. Restart your iPhone: Restarting your iPhone can sometimes resolve issues with the Mail app.

If none of the above steps work, you may want to contact Apple Support or your email service provider for further assistance.
