I have been searching for this on this community and interestingly I couldn't find any helpful response.
Well, lucky for us there is a bug in the system that is helping our poor souls…
When screen is locked and there is WhatsApp call, go to “message” and tap on “custom”. In my case (iPhone 14 Pro Max running 16.4) it rejects the call.
Now pray that they dont fix this bug in next update :-D
