Run function on a mac

On Windows devices I can get the run command up using Windows + right click and the run option is there or can type it in the search bar... How do I do this if I was to use a Mac?

Do you mean the terminal?

You can find it in Applications->Utilities

Unlike Microsoft Windows, macOS is built on a UNIX foundation and when you open the Terminal application, the path separators will be the reverse of Windows. If you are not familiar with UNIX commands, launching the MacOS Terminal application may not be for you, and the wrong command could just ruin your day.
