Toast 20 install problems

I just received the disk for Toast 20 and am trying to install it. Everything is moving forward until it starts to install and the small window pops up 'Toast 20 installer wants to make changes' and prompts me to enter my password to allow this. I do not have a password nor was I prompted to create a password. Any suggestions would be helpful. I have not heard back via email yet from Roxio support. TYVM. I should add I am running Catalina 10.15.7.

This has to be an easy fix but I am stumped and Roxio support is not supportive. ;o)

The password being asked for is the user login password for the computer.

It will be the password of the user with administrator privileges.

I wish you luck in getting a refund. I will be requesting one also. I did not have any problems with my admin password, but rather once the installer tries to install the downloaded .pkg file it errors after about 3% progress. Only after repeatedly trying to re-download and install did I check their details, apparently they do not support the current macOS Ventura 13.0 yet, that should be a large warning on the home page, not a hidden detail buried in the tech specs, they don't have a product compatible with a current Mac. they are selling legacy software, and this should be displayed more prominently on their web site.

“Requires macOS 10.14 (64-bit), macOS 10.15, macOS 11.0, or macOS 12.0”
