Hello gabaretha,

If you're unable to just close out of that pop-up, try force quitting and reopening Safari.

How to force an app to quit on your Mac

If Safari is still going back to that pop-up when you reopen it, clear the browser history.

1. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose History > Clear History, then click the pop-up menu.
2. Choose how far back you want your browsing history cleared.
