I am continually having an issue with my mail app on my MacBook. I get an error message stated that there was a problem reading my digital signature. There are 2 different messages I am getting. It is never consistent on how frequently I get this or when I send to certain people.

I cannot find ANYTHING on how to update MY signature. I can only find articles on approving someone else's signature. Can anyone help me with this?

The most frustrating part is that I will type out a long email, then when I get this error, everything I typed out disappears and isnt available in drafts. So I have resolved to having to copy every single email I write just in case I get this error message so that I dont have to re-write it.

So far I have deleted this email and re-added it. I am running on Ventura 13.2.1

I really dont like the gmail interface and prefer not to have to use that!

Hello LLSBforever,

To isolate this behavior we recommend following the guidance listed here: If you can’t send or receive email on your Mac - Apple Support

Specifically, try using webmail to see if the behavior persists before removing and re-adding all associated email addresses that are affected. Should the behavior persist at that time we'd recommend testing this behavior in safe mode on your Mac: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Safe mode prevents your Mac from loading certain software as it starts up, including login items, system extensions not required by macOS, and fonts not installed by macOS. It also does a basic check of your startup disk, similar to using First Aid in Disk Utility. And it deletes some system caches, including font caches and the kernel cache, which are automatically created again as needed.

Regards.
