Screen mirror and HomePod mini

Thanks for clarifying. In that case, the limitations of using AirPlay are outlined in Use AirPlay to stream audio - Apple Support. We're unable to find any mention of it being possible to AirPlay your screen, while simultaneously streaming a different audio source to a HomePod.

With that said, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple for further confirmation: Contact - Official Apple Support

If your HomePod is assigned to your Apple TV as the default audio output, content that you AirPlay to your Apple TV should output audio to the HomePod. Good afternoon Eliklein02,

What is the make and model of the TV you want to "mirror" to. Is it a smart TV with the Apple TV app installed on it? You should be able to set up the HomePod mini as the sound output for the TV regardless of what device you are using to screen mirror with it.
