I'm having a printer problem with 13.3

I have a Mac Studio with a Canon imageClass mf644Cdw. I worked with Canon and the connection and printer has their new 13 drivers and it will print a test page but will not print with safari or any other program.

I'm told to reinstall but that gives me 13.3. Is there a fix for this?

re: re-install

If it is listed as AirPrint printer, delete the existing printer and add it again, select AirPrint.

Go to  > System Settings > General > About > System Report > Printers. Post pic of what you have here. This is what mine looks like.

Try restarting you router, then verify your printer is connected to internet. This pic should give more info on the installation of your printer.

Another area that would be helpful is  > System Settings > Printers & Scanners. Click on your printer under "Printers" and post the pic. Here is mine:

The kind should say AirPrint. On this page you can click Printer Queue and make sure that printing is not Paused.

Your printer is listed as being capable of using AirPrint. Follow the instructions from leroydouglas, he his right on. The key points are:

  • Make sure your Printer and Computer are connected to the same wifi.
  • Removing the current printer from  > System Settings > Printers & Scanners
  • Click Add Printer, Scanner, or Fax
  • It may take a couple of seconds, but your printer should show up here.
  • Select it and click Add
