Hello everyone,
I just got my first Mac Mini M2 today.
I set it up with my monitor and started it. After migrating data from my Macbook pro the mac mini showed the login screen. When I put my password in, the screen glitched and turned black with a small loading sign.
The screen was like that for a bit and it showed the login screen again. I'm still using the mac mini right now and it hasn't glitched yet.
Is this normal? Thanks in advance!

It is very likely that what you experienced is that your new mini, after being initially started, checked to see if it is running the latest version of macOS, and then, updated it. This would present itself, with a login screen that will disappear and complete the update process before the login screen reappears. I don't think your Mac is having an issue.
However, if this continues to happen, I would suggest that you contact Apple Support directly to have them assist you with this. You can do so simply by selecting the "Support" link on the lower left-hand side of this forum's web page.
