The audio file has a 64 bit format and can’t be used.

I have to edit a .wav audio file, but Garageband just gives me the following warning if I want to open the file:

The audio file “KaM 19.1.23.wav” has a 64 bit format and can’t be used.

How can I fix this problem? I really need this to get a job done.

Garageband shows "audio file not found" for pasted clips after re-opening saved file When I move a clip to a Garageband file, then edit and save - it's all fine. But when re-opening that file, either immediately or a little later, one or more of the pasted audio files give 'file missing' error. Even if the file has opened successfully several times since they were pasted in. This is a new problem since the OS Venture Upgrade (It seems) but perhaps there was a Garageband update too that instigated it. possibly corrupted file in garageband-is it possible to recover the file? Hi, I have been using Garageband for several months now as I have started to make my own songs and produce them as well. I have only had this happen a couple of other times however the projects were not as important so it wasn't really an issue. But now it has happened to one I was working on the other day and I would like to know if I can recover it. whenever I try to open the file it says "the file couldn't be opened because it isn't in the correct format. The file might be corrupted, truncated or in an unexpected format." is it possible to fix this issue? thanks, Tabby:)
