Hey Siri handfree calling disconnecting all Outgoing Bluetooth calls in 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited.

Had to upgrade my 2012 Toyota Sienna XLE when a distracted driver rammed into me and totaled it. Replaced with 2013 Toyota Sienna Limited that has a built in touchscreen and navigation system. But I can't get Siri to make outgoing calls with the Bluetooth. Incoming calls work fine, but I get a message on the screen, "disconnected" whenever I tell Siri to call out. Siri will recognize who I am calling, and act like it’s making the call, but as soon as the dialing process starts, I get the disconnected message.

If I use the iPhone screen to place the call, the call connects through the car audio no problem. But that’s dangerous when driving.

Hey Siri worked fine on my 2012 xle—which had a much less sophisticated Bluetooth audio system. Hey siri outgoing calling also works fine on my mom’s 2015 Sienna XLE.

As it's showing 'Disconnected' when using Siri to make a call while paired with your Bluetooth car stereo, does the same issue occur if you test making a call only using your iPhone?
Does this occur with only a specific contact, or all contacts?
Sometimes unexpected behavior can be resolved with a restart: Restart your iPhone
Since you have a compatible iPhone model, the latest version is iOS 16.4. You can verify this within Settings > General > About. In case you needed it, this link shows how to first back up, then Update your iPhone or iPad.
Have you been able to test pairing another iPhone with your car stereo to see if the same issue occurred?
You may need to contact your car stereo manufacturer for the steps, but have you already checked for a possible firmware update available for it?
