Show recently deleted does not show up under edit
Messages: show recently deleted messages does not show up under Edit

There are 2 possible reasons for this:
1) iOS 16 was not installed on the phone....before....the messages were deleted
2) iOS 16 was installed on the phone....but....it as been more than 30 days since the messages were deleted
IF...you have iOS 16 installed....AND....the messages were deleted less than 30 days ago......THEN.....Recently Deleted will appear under Edit in Messages.
IF.....you are still using iOS 15 as your profile indicates.....Recently Deleted will never appear.
