Applying a Formula Once to Cells in a Column or Row in Numbers.

Someone from France posted to put the formula into the header, but that just overwrote the text in my header!

How to create a functioning formula from plain text in Numbers? I would like to type various pieces of a formula as plain text in different cells and then assemble some of those pieces into a working formula in another cell. I know how to concatenate pieces of text and can form the text of a function, but the assembled text does not operate like a function. Numbers - Formulas I created a formula on Numbers and can not remember what I did originally. It worked perfectly, but when I went to recreate the formula I realized Numbers abbreviated my original formula. Is there a way to see my whole formula typed out? Any help is appreciated! 😀

Hidden text in formula Is there a way to add reference text to a formula in numbers? I would like to have a note as to what the number was for the future. For example (3*2"text)+(7*4"text two") where the text was ignored by the formula and not visible unless you clicked into the formula. Thank you

There is no "applying a formula once to [all] cells in a column or row". You can, though, copy/paste or drag-fill a formula from one cell in the column to all the others cells in the column.

Don't forget that you can add a Footer Row to a table and put a formula there referring to the entire column above it.
