iPhone battery

My iPhone battery is losing charge rapidly anyone know the reason why. I checked and my battery capacity is at 86% so it’s not below 80 because I’ve been told that I have to replace the battery once it falls below that percentage? Any tip or advice would help!

There could be several reasons why your iPhone battery is losing charge rapidly. Here are some tips and advice to help you troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check which apps are using up the most battery: Go to Settings > Battery to see which apps are consuming the most battery life. If you notice any apps using a lot of battery, try closing them or uninstalling them.
  2. Reduce screen brightness: High screen brightness can consume a lot of battery life. Try reducing the screen brightness to a level that is comfortable for you.
  3. Turn off background app refresh: Background app refresh can consume a lot of battery life as it constantly refreshes apps in the background. Try turning off background app refresh for apps that you do not use frequently.
  4. Enable low power mode: Low power mode is a built-in feature on iPhones that helps conserve battery life by reducing power consumption. To enable it, go to Settings > Battery > Low Power Mode.
  5. Check for software updates: Software updates can fix bugs and improve battery life. Make sure your iPhone is running the latest version of iOS.
  6. Reset all settings: If none of the above solutions work, you can try resetting all settings on your iPhone. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.

If none of these tips work, it may be time to replace your battery. While the 80% threshold is a good indicator, it is not a hard and fast rule. If you are experiencing significant battery degradation and none of the above solutions work, consider taking your iPhone to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or to an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
