time machine
Accidentally set up Time Machine on my hard disk but managed to remove it. Now every time I plug my hard disk into my Macbook it's showing up as a Time Machine device. How do I fix this?
MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.2

Hello miraeisms,
The following user guide should be of assistance!
Change Time Machine settings on Mac - Apple Support
If you already set up Time Machine, do either of the following:
Add a backup disk: Click the Add button.
Remove a backup disk: Click the Remove button, then click Forget Destination.
If you're unable to take these steps you may need to format your external HDD for use with your Mac again. Here's how: Erase and reformat a storage device in Disk Utility on Mac - Apple Support
Regards.
