Images on safari blowing up from their normal size

I sign on Safari as I normally do and the images triple in size from what's normal. None of the zoom features seem to solve the problem. How do I fix?

Safari suddenly zooming in and out weirdly in google images and google search on iPad Hello, Suddenly this morning safari started zooming in really large on google images on my iPad, and looks slightly zoomed in on the egular “all” search in google as the web browser. Blurred images on Times newspaper web site on Safari Despite trying numerous remedies on other sites (e.g., clearing cookies on Washington Post), the images on the Times (London) website do not load properly in Safari. The initial pictures at the top of the article are fine, but the ones lower down are terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions? It is driving me to Chrome full time. Some images are total noise in Safari Since the recent Safari update (16.5) I have run into this problem on multiple websites and on different Macs. The images usually load fine then immediately change to what is shown in the screenshot below. Sometimes they later change back to the image. Any idea what's up with that?

Hello colehme,

To help resolve this issue, quit Safari and reopen it while holding the "shift" key. This can help with issues like the one you're having.

If the issue persists, try booting into safe mode to see if the same thing occurs. Safe mode can clear caches and bypass software that can cause conflicts. This article shows you how: How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support
