USB Mic & Electric Guitar Input Monitoring

Hi all. My brother has a USB mic that he wants to connect directly to his Macbook and monitor in Garageband while he plays electric guitar at the same time. The guitar would go through a Focusrite interface...Is there anyway to hear the monitor for both the USB and the guitar since they are different input sources? Thanks for the help!

You need to create an aggregate device:

I understand that. In GarageBand it seems you can only select 1 source as your input source (I.e USB, built in mic or Focusrite) though.

I understand that you can select input 1 on the Focusrite for one track and input 2 for another track to monitor both…but I want to select the Focusrite for one track and USB source for another and can’t seem to find that option.
