cannot block some email senders

Hi


I am getting a lot of spam, and I got to the habit of blocking the senders. It works pretty well, and as soon as I click 'Block contact', a small red circle appears, and the email is titled as blocked. Also, if I click on the sender again, the option will now say 'unblock contact'.


however, some senders, I just cannot block. I click on 'block contact', and it will not change to 'unblock'. It will not title the email as blocked. And it will not bin the mail. I tried manually adding the email address to thew 'blocked' list, and it gets there, but still wont get blocked. Its like its on some sort of whitelist.

if no insight/progress or resolve—

If Junk mail is not working for you as expected you can turn it off in Mail>Settings.

You have the option of installing a third party spam filter. ex.
