Recently, the sunrise sunset complication was completely removed from my Apple Watch face options.
I see several discussions of the complication needing location services turned on to work properly, but no discussions of it disappearing completely.
Any help on how to bring it back? I found this feature very valuable on my watch face.

World Clock should be on your Apple Watch by default. When you tap the digital crown on your Apple Watch to bring up the app lists, do you not see World Clock?

Also, I believe it's tied to the built in Clock App on your iPhone. Did you by chance delete the Clock App on your iPhone?
I don't know what to suggest. If you open the Clock app on your iPhone and tap the World clock are any locations shown?

The Sunrise/Sunset complication is alive and well on my Apple Watch Ultra running WatchOS 9.4. The complication is an option under World Clock. Have you checked there? It may be easier to use the Watch App on your iPhone to customize whichever watch face you are using on your watch.
this must be my problem, I deleted the world clock app in the watch not knowing this would happen.
but now I can’t figure out how to get the world clock app back, does any one know how to fix this?

I deleted the World Clock app off of the Watch face (it was there by default, as you suggested).
The clock app on my Iphone is still there. And I can see the world clock tab within that on my iphone.
But interestingly, I can't find anywhere to re-enable the World Clock app specific to the Watch (either within the settings of the Clock app or in the App Store).
Any help would be appreciated!
Yea, the world times show up as usual on the iPhone app. Just took this snapshot.
there’s just no where to toggle the world clock watch app back on. It’s bizarre (or hiding in plain sight)
