How can reset Apple Watch

Apple watch series 6.44 Model A2292. I have tried pushing both buttons on side, Ihave charged it overnite. Still only a red lightening bolt and time. That it. Back of watch is clean, no plastic, have had two years or so, original owner

OK, so the red lightning bolt indicates the watch needs to be charged and since you tried to charge it overnight, it's not getting charged. Do you have access to another Apple Watch Charger? If you do, you could have a defective charger. If you don't see if you know someone with an Apple Watch and see if you can try their charger.

And if that isn't an option, schedule a visit to your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation.

got it .. i did look into the apple store nearby but they charge $299 to repair .. I am actually wondering if it’s because I was given the watch for a study in the Heartline series and perhaps the study has come to an end after two years . I plan to call monday Thanks so much!!!

You'll need to Apple to advise you if the study has anything to do with this. I doubt it, but they can best advise.
