There must be a way to find out your device serial number if hv lost it n its box too

If you're needing to locate the serial number for your iPhone that is lost, and no longer have the box, you may be able to find it on the Apple ID website or on a different Apple device using the same Apple ID. The "If you don't have your device" section of Find the serial number or IMEI on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch has steps for this.
- "Go to appleid.apple.com in a web browser.
- Sign in with the Apple ID that you use on your device.
- Choose the Devices section. To see the serial and IMEI/MEID number, select the device.
If you still need help, here's what to try next:
- Do you have a different device with iOS 10.3 or later that's signed in to your Apple ID? On that device, go to Settings > [Your name]. Scroll down to see any devices signed in with your Apple ID. To view the serial and IMEI/MEID number, tap the device name."
As far as tracking a device, Find My is the only Apple service that will allow you track a lost or stolen device. If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is lost or stolen has more information on what steps you'll want to take if your device is missing.
