I was just billed for a service that I don’t want… please refund my money

FYI you are not addressing Apple on this site.


Are you certain the charge is legitimate? In other words were you actually charged, or did you only receive an email alleging you were billed for some service.


Confirm your purchases here: If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support. If there are no corresponding charges there, then you received an email alleging you were charged for a purchase that you did not make. Refer to this excerpt from Effective defenses against malware and other threats - Apple Community:


  • Don't open email attachments from email addresses that you do not recognize, or click links contained in an email:
    • ...
    • A variant of the same scam takes the form of an emailed receipt for an iTunes Store or App Store purchase you did not make. The email will contain a link soliciting your Apple ID to confirm the alleged purchase. Both the link and the receipt are fraudulent.
