Why does copied text appear in a text box when pasted into Pages? I frequently copy text from webpages and import it into a new Pages document. Now every time I do it, the text appears in a text box and it’s impossible to extract the text. Is it a setting I’m missing? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Paste into what? The destination would have to be able to make sense of Pages formatting.
