failed or dropped calls iPhone 13

Cannot make calls from new iPhone 13, vision iOS 16.4. Earlier calls were failing during conversations, now they will not go through at all. I have restarted the phones (2 bought same time, same issue), checked our wifi connections and all software updates.

Turn your cellular line off and back on
Go to Settings > Cellular and check to see if your cellular line is turned on. If your cellular line is off, turn it back on. Then check to see if you have service.


Check for a Carrier Settings update
To manually check for and install a carrier settings update:
1. Make sure that your device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network.
2. Tap Settings > General > About. If an update is available, you'll see an option to update your carrier settings.
3. To see the version of carrier settings on your device, tap Settings > General > About and look next to Carrier.


It's a good idea to confirm that you have a current backup before you take these next steps.

Check your network setings
1. Reset your network settings. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will erase all current saved settings, including Wi-Fi passwords, preferred networks, and VPN settings.
2. Try to make or receive calls in another location.


If you still experience call drops or failures after these steps, it's time to contact your wireless carrier.
