Apple Music new authorisation

I have just purchased a new MacBook Air and I can't authorise my I tunes to down load my music. I have music on 3 other devices iPhone, iPad and windows computer. When I try to authorise this new machine it asks for my ID and Password which I enter and then nothing..... tumbleweed. Any help out there would be appreciated.

Reboot your router and computer, temporarily disable any VPN software, and try again.
