How do I stop the message "We noticed there's been no activity for a while. Do you want to continue watching?" Appears after a couple of hours on one channel. Using Optimum app and a Samsung UN55AU8000.

Been there, done that. They claim it’s a problem with Apple TV. So I guess I’m in the middle. Don’t happen with the regular box on this TV or my Fire Stick on another TV.
