WhatsApp not working on iPhone 13

WhatsApp has not been working for me since yesterday. The app opens for a fraction of a second and then shuts down. Cannot send or receive messages/calls. Have tried everything from rebooting to deleting and reinstalling the app to resetting network settings. Anybody else face this issue?

when i open my whatsapp it opens only for few seconds after that it exits the app automatically. I have tried everything like rebooting , forced restart too but i am still facing this issue . Please try to resolve this issue as soon as possible . My device name is iphone 13

First, try a forced restart. If that doesn't work, un-install and re-install the app. If that doesn't work, contact the app developer for help with their software.


Try a forced restart.

• Press and quickly release the volume up button

• Press and quickly release the volume down button

• Press and hold the side button.

• When the Apple logo appears, release the button.

Same issue here also after downloading 17.1.1 update 😡 !!! Had to do full hard reset, taking backup of only contacts, msgs, and files on iCloud, rest all applications deleted. And then had to do setup from the scratch. What a pain it is to bring back your phone to normal working… had to change the credentials with bank, other business software etc..
