Cause of tingling and electric sensations while wearing Apple Watch?
I just found a huge thread about the electrical sensations some people report while wearing Apple Watch. I have had them also. I have tried for many months to find a simple reason for it. I believe I found it in the thread - pressure on the ULNAR NERVE. When I press on my wrist with two fingers in that spot the same sensation occurs. Someone also mentioned that the rounded shape underneath may cause extra pressure.
I have a lot of nerve problems on my left shoulder and neck. I have had severe pinched nerves in my back. I have Multiple Sclerosis and know very well the terrible, scary symptoms that injury or irritation to nerves can cause. Pressure on a nerve makes perfect sense to me. Another person reported that fitness watches with all the same sensors but with a flat, smooth back did not bother them.
For those that have this problem, you can also buy clips to wear just the body of it it on your waist. Also you can get connectors and attach a lanyard to them. Obviously the body functions monitored by sensors will not work like this. But I use it MAINLY for the many daily alarms available as medication reminders. I cannot stay on track without that. Have tried everything. All I’ve found for watches are other smart watches which would not work with my other devices or G Shock watches which I love but are too quiet. Apple Watch has the perfect vibrate/ping to alert me even if I’m asleep.
