How to add a folder from my files location on the homescreen

I created a folder in my files location with a bunch of files in it, how do I create a shortcut on the homescreen so i dont have to go to my files everytime i want to access those folders

iOS/iPadOS doesn’t permit individual files or App folders to be placed on a Home Screen.


You can, however, access your files from the Files App - the icon for which which can be placed on a Home Screen. You can also create a shortcut - which again can be installed on a Home Screen. The Shortcuts User Guide and iPad User Guide provide guidance:
