Hi all. I've just started using Apple TV. I noticed in watching Still Life movie on Amazon app on TV, that after a commercial break, that I get a black screen but can hear audio. If I stop the play, turn off the TV and restart the movie, I get video and audio just fine.
Is there any fix I can do so I don't have to go through this process?

Thanks for that additional information. Sorry to have overlooked the FreeVee option. I think I also may have mixed up two unrelated movies with the same title [1] [2].
While it does seem to be an issue for the specific app, that the app developers should fix,
you may be able to work around the issue by disabling the Match Content settings.
That helped for YouTube users with a similar issue.
You get commercials in movies on Amazon Prime?
Or did you watch though one of their in-app channels?
Or perhaps through a different app?
Tubi and Pluto and the free tier of Peacock TV have ads, but Sundance Now (subscription), Kanopy (h.e. students, US public library members), and Prime (buy/rent) should not have ads.
Thanks for your reply.... Yes, it's free with ads on Amazon Prime. Says so...FreeVee is the provider. Maybe it's only when Amazon uses this movie streamer?
