I can verify my iCloud when trying to sign in on my Gen2 TV. If not giving me the option to input the code at all before it automatically denies my login with the correct password

The old Apple TV (2nd generation), 2010 model, may experience compatibility issues with iCloud services.
The new Apple TV 4K (2nd generation), 2021 model, should have no issues with iCloud services. But accepting the new terms and conditions may require signing out, then signing in again – if you have no iPhone or iPad.
