Why is my iPhone 11 battery getting so hot? I hv turned off any unused apps and none are open in the background? My battery is also degraded and only has 79% capacity. Is that why it’s so hot?

Thank you all for your responses re: my hot battery. I will try each one and see if they help!! I’m crossing my fingers🤞. Also, I wanted to say that my battery has been getting hot like this even when I had 90% capacity. Any more suggestions, I’m always welcome to accept! Thx again!
