Apple Watch complications

The weather has disappeared from my watch. I’m using the Modular Face, middle complication. I’m using The Weather Channel (purchased version). It appears on my dock. It appears in my face settings although the icon says “no data available”. But my watch is blank in the middle. I’ve restarted both my iPhone AND the watch. No result. Check for and updated software (I’ve always kept this up to date). Still nothing. It worked previously with another weather app (weatherRadar), but it’s not even a choose in the watch face settings.

what can I do?

I’ve done all those things—twice. Even called Apple (my watch is still under warranty). We went through many other attempts. NOTHING FIXED IT. I went to The Weather Channel’s website where it says they (TWC) know there’s a problem and they’re working on a resolution. I see on forums where this issue has been ongoing for months and months.

complications doesn’t list my second choice for a weather app even though it’s installed on my phone and watch. The only choice was TWC and it won’t work. 🙄

There was an issue with the Weather app that has since been resolved as outlined here: Apple - Support - System Status

If you are still experiencing issue with the Weather complication on your Apple Watch, restart both the watch and its companion iPhone once more since this refreshes the software and can resolve issues like this. These show how to do this if you need it:
