Yeah, everyone gets this confused lol. There used to be an app called "Camera+" but it got pulled out of the App Store last week. The other apps called "Camera Plus" and "Camera Plus Pro" are completely different apps. "Camera+" was listed just how it looks, and it was a completely different app.
I had to clarify this to so many people lol.
What I was wondering was if there was a way to recover a deleted app on the iPhone? Like somehow go search the files in the phone, and try and retrieve it.
In a word, no.
Or my other theory was that if someone else out there had a legit copy of Camera+, they could try and send it to me. I know it's a long shot, but I was thinking that if I got the legit .ipa from someone who purchased the appllication, I can load it into iTunes, and since I DID purchase it, I would be able to use it. It might work, it might now. I really want to try it out though.
Not possible. All 3rd party apps - paid and free apps include DRM protection which is tied to the iTunes account used to download the app. You would need to authorize your computer with the iTunes account used to download the app, and I seriously doubt someone is going to provide you their iTunes account and password.
If there were a way around this, someone could purchase an app and send it to all their friends and/or family members with an iPhone.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking. ****, this stinks. The only reason why I thought this would work was because iTunes could trace back if I actually bought the app, which I did. But each app is tied into the account in which it was downloaded. I just thought that since I bought it, I could use another .ipa.
I guess I'll just cross my fingers and hope that Camera+ makes it back into the App Store.
