Zoom One Tap Mobile Keeps Hanging Up after IOS update 16.4

I contacted apple about the same issue and they clearly don't understand - kept asking if this was an issue with the zoom app. I played around a bit myself and it seems that removing the extra comma from the string works. so if you update your calendar invites to {local number}xxx-xxx-xxxx,{meeting id}# - instead of {local number}xxx-xxx-xxxx,,{meeting id}# - it should work. this does not solve the problem when you get calendar invites or email with one tap #s from others so I will be messaging zoom next.

I have two phones with 16.4.1. One is T-Mobile and the other is Verizon. The problem only occurs on the Verizon phone.

I also tested with different numbers and the numbers are not being sent on the Verizon. The T-Mobile works fine for me.

Has anyone found a solution?

Our company is experiencing the same issue. Only Verizon users can’t properly use the one touch dial. Even with conference calls. Some of us have the new 16.4.1 update, whiles others don’t. Verizon is oblivious to the issue and sent me to Apple Support. They both keep pointing the finger at each other.

This is happening for me too. Not only zoom but also Microsoft teams calls. Anytime I use the click to dial with a ,, code behind it. It’s as if the numbers are not all going over. Zoom usually says goodbye but also once said the code was invalid and only repeated 3 of the 9ish numbers. Microsoft Teams just sits after the entry. So frustrating.

I was able to set my phone as a B e + A (apple rejected my first comment bc of this word) user so I could get the 16.5 update. Gti-guy25 above included the info on how to do that. That gave me the option for the 16.5 update, and I no longer have the click to dial issues. You can always turn b E + A back off after this update, if you don’t want to be part of future groups. I likely will do that.

I just spoke with an Apple rep. They will not fix the issue. They say it is up to Zoom to fix it. I spoke to Zoom and they said they knew about the issue and were working on it.

Same issue here. Hopefully Apple will help escalate this since Verizon is not acknowledging.

hey all! I’m a Verizon customer with an iPhone 13 Pro. This issue appears to be fixed in iOS 16.5. I have tested and can confirm One Tap Mobile in Zoom is working for me.

At the time of this posting... iOS 16.5 is not available for me.

You can try setting your phone up for beta testing:

settings>general>software updates>beta updates>Public Beta

Since 16.5 is not available unless you are a beta user, has anyone found a solution?
