I cant hear calls on Carplay

Running iOS 16.4 on iPhone 13 Pro and just added a new stereo to my 2017 Jeep Wrangler to include wireless CarPlay, everything is working fine EXCEPT when making calls, they can hear me but I cannot hear them. Cannot hear the call going out.

If I disconnect from CarPlay and simply use Bluetooth my calls are fine. This is only occurring with CarPlay.

The person on the other end of the phone call can’t hear us either. Upon termination of the phone call the car head unit also restarts, even while driving. We have tried every suggestion on google, but the only way we have gotten around this problem is to reroute our phone calls to our phone speaker, which is really inconvenient when the phone is connected to headphones. We have a 2016 Hyundai Tucson and connect via a lightening cable. Has anyone else had this problem since the newest iOS update?

iphone-carplay phone calls voice issue When using my phone via apple carplay to make calls between 5-10mins the call cuts out. The person on the other line can hear me but I can’t hear them. This doesn’t happen when just connected to my car via Bluetooth only when connected to apple carplay. Any help please?

CarPlay will not allow me to hear anyone on the other end of phone calls whether I am sending/receiving the phone call CarPlay will not allow me to hear anyone on the other end of phone calls whether I am sending/receiving the phone call. I have a 2022 Hyundai Santa Fe and an iPhone 13 Pro with the latest iOS update. I have made sure all accesses are allowed on my phone for carplay, deleted my phone from my car and carplay from my phone in order to restart it all and reconnect it from the beginning again. Still did not fix the issue. Everything else with CarPlay works just fine, just unable to hear people on phone calls and they are unable to hear me. PLEASE HELP!!!
