Apple Watch keeps locking

Recently my Apple Watch has begun locking almost every time I lower my wrist. I have tried turning wrist detection off and back on, my band is tight (solo loop, alpine loop, link) and the sensors are clean and I have reset and re-paired the watch. I'm missing a lot of notifications because of this issue and it's becoming a real issue. As I was typing this out it has locked twice. I'd turn off wrist detection completely but then I lose activity, some tracking, and Apple Pay. I've seen numerous posts on this issue that close without a solution. Anyone have any ideas?
