Mac Mini boot issue at home

My mac mini is having a weird booting issue at home, as soon as I press the power button, the indicator lights up and dims right away, no chime, nothing showing on screen. I reached out to Apple regarding this issue and took my Mac mini to the genius bar, but when they plug it in, it turns right up and acts totally normal but when I take it back home, it starts to have the same issue before. Any ideas?

Sounds like there is a problem with the outlet that you are plugging the Mac mini into.

As a test, try plugging the Mac mini into a different outlet in a different part of your home.

If the Mac mini works in a different outlet, then have an electrician test that original wall circuit.

If the Mac mini doesn't work in any wall circuits, then have the electrician test for a wiring problem.

Troubleshooting Mac Charge:

Refer to the following....

A. Reset the SMC and your NVRAM:

(Applies yo Intel-Based Macs Only) Sometimes when changes are made to the system(i.e. Updates), system configurations (i.e. for Power) become manipulated, technically. So, reset the SMC and NVRAM. Try performing each thrice. It may take sometime, being certain you have the time to perform these resets.

B. Try a New Charger:

C. A Few Links to Refer to for Power:
