iCloud and VPNs not cooperating well

I have had to redo a lot on my iphone when it comes to icloud related because the VPN seems to make it not connect properly to the iCloud network. it times out and many other things and took ages but once my VPN was gone, nordVPN, I could do all without issue. i talk about app updates, icloud connecting, purchase things, change subscriptions with iCloud+ and more.

Is this a general issue with VPNs, Nord specific or an iCloud issue?

Hi VivianSayan,

Thanks for posting here in Apple Support Communities. It appears that the issue would be with your VPN as iCloud works well when you turn it off. There are some things that you can check when using the VPN though.
