iTunes payment notification

Hello,

I received an email from iTunes "On 04/14/2023 you are scheduled to be charged $0.99 for iCloud+ with 50 GB of storage, but there is a problem with your payment information."

I never received this notification before so I checked my account information for payment method and shows the card has expired. But my card expiration date is 2025 and other apps charged with no issues.

Is this scam?

Please advise. Thanks.

Do you have an iCloud subscription?

Check -> Go to -> Settings -> your name -> iCloud -> if you see 50 GB (or 200 GB or 2 TB) then you have an iCloud subscription.

If you have an iCloud subscription, you will receive a monthly bill from Apple, check your email box.

You pay monthly for iCloud storage.

Not a notification.

See example:

You can of course check when you received an invoice from Apple for your iCloud subscription last month.

Perhaps it is scam / phishing.
