My AirPods Pro (1st Gen) won’t charge and flash between green and amber when plugged in

Hi all,

My AirPods Pro have recently stopped charging in the case (even while the case is as full charge). The left AirPod will charge while the case is charging, while the right will not, if you try to put it in your ear, the left will connect and play audio, while the right just beeps every time you move and / or touch it.

When plugged into the wall, with both AirPods inside, the case flashes green for a split second, then amber, then off, and repeats. Meanwhile, the little AirPods pop up repeatedly opens and closes on my screen.

Additionally, when the pop up shows up, it says “AirPods Pro - Find My” and says that both earbuds are charging. But not when the case isn’t plugged into the wall. No lights turn on, but if you take out the left earbud it will connect (given that it’s charged).

What I’ve tried already:

• Using a multiple different cables (both Apple and 3rd party)
• Cleaning the metal charging contacts with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol
• Leaving the AirPods to just charge overnight
• Resetting the AirPods via the button on the back

All help is much appreciated.
