why can't I install migration assistance?

So am trying to migrate my files from my old windows computer to my MacBook pro but for some reason when I try to download migration assistance on my Mac book it say it has been archived so what should I do from here.

Hmmm, it's not clear, but Migration Assistant is on the Mac already...

First I would definitely confirm whether Migration Assistant is or is not installed in the PC. If not, reinstall it. When it is installed, then start it up. Then go back to the Mac and complete your initial setup if not already done. then Open Migration Assistant in the Mac and carefully follow its instructions. Be sure the two computers are connected together with a cable. Doing the migration via Wi-Fi or a network very often fails.
