Amazon Account Will Not Link With Apple Music

I recently purchased an Apple Music family subscription, and attempted to sign in/link my account from the Alexa app, (I am on an iPad) used TouchID, but a screen popped up in Safari with the apple music and alexa logo saying, “linking unsuccessful.” I tried again without touchID, signing in with my credentials only, but to no avail. I was brought back to the Alexa app where i was told that the linking was unsuccessful . Does anyone have a solution to this? If so please let me know.

Hi 胡家軒,

We may be able to offer some guidance with your Alexa and Apple Music link. In your post, you mention you are attempting to make the connection with your iPad. Do you also have an Amazon Echo, Amazing Fire TV, or Alexa-enabled Sonos speakers that you've already set up? You'll need one of these in addition to the Apple Music subscription and your iPad. The "Here's what you need" section of Play Apple Music with Alexa explains.

Here’s what you need
• An Apple Music subscription. If you’re not a subscriber, you can join on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or on your Android device.
• An Amazon Echo, Amazon Fire TV, or Alexa-enabled Sonos speaker that you already set up with the Amazon Alexa app on your iOS or Android device.
• The iOS or Android device that you already set up with Alexa. Make sure that you update to the latest iOS and check the App Store to see if there are updates for the Amazon Alexa app. If you use an Android device, check the Google Play Store for any updates to the Apple Music app or Amazon Alexa app.
