The problem with notifications

I do not get notifications on my phone, they come only when I go to the app / social network

iPhone 12 Pro Max, iOS 16

  1. Have you had the chance to restart your iPhone? Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
  2. Are you experiencing the issue when using a Wi-Fi network, cellular data, or both?
  3. Also, are you using a VPN on your device, on your router, or access point?
  4. Is the device set to the correct Time Zone? Also, is the Date & Time set automatically? You can confirm these details under Settings > General > Date & Time.


Is it possible that your Notification Grouping is enabled?

You can use the steps below to check.

  1. "Go to Settings and tap Notifications.
  2. Select an app and tap Notification Grouping.
  3. Select one of these options:Automatic: 
    • The notifications from the app are grouped according to organizing criteria within the app, such as by topic or thread.
    • By App: All the notifications from the app are grouped together.
    • Off: Turn off grouping."

If you haven't, please check for a software update and make sure that you are running the latest version of iOS.

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your device can help isolate potential software issues.
