Airpods Pro 2 wont show case percentage in battery widget on Iphone

Hello,

my Airpods Pro 2 case doesnt appear in the battery widget on my iPhone. The Airpods themselves do, the case doesnt.

If I open the case near the iPhone the window pops out showing correct battery percantage, but the widget wont update for whatever reason.

Every now and then the case appears for a short while, permanently showing 30% battery, which is false.

On top of that, when the case used to show its percentage in the widget, the Airpods and their case randomly appeared and disappeared within the widget menu, despite being well within range.

The airpods arent even a week old.

Any suggestion besides from reconnecting the Airpods to the iPhone? Im not willing to constantly put work into a premium product thats said to "just work"

I went with Apple due to its "unmatched ecosystem" but as of right now im not very satisfied with the experience. The only thing that has worked somewhat reliably for me has been the Watch. But not even a week into my Apple experience, im already considering abandoning it all for good.
