I have updated my iPhone 8 to 16 version..the problem is that my iPhone started to consume high internet bundle..I tried to stop automatic downloads but still it downloads…the main update is “system updates” I don’t know how to avoid it

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! To disable automatic iOS updates you'll want to go to Settings > General > Software Update > Automatic Updates as listed below that can help:
Update iPhone automatically
If you didn’t turn on automatic updates when you first set up your iPhone, do the following:
1. Go to Settings> General > Software Update > Automatic Updates.
2. Turn on Download iOS Updates and Install iOS Updates.
When an update is available, iPhone downloads and installs the update overnight while charging and connected to Wi-Fi. You’re notified before an update is installed.
